DB Station at Potsdam. The south entrance of Potsdam Station has an extensive bus station as well as a tram loop. It is the most westerly terminal of the Berlin S-Bahn as well as being a through station for the DB regional and Inter-City trains. Photographed on Wednesday May 7th, 2003.

| Erstagsfahrkarte. Die S-Bahn Strecke zwischen den Bahnhöfen Postdam Stadt -> Posdam Babalsberg -> Giebnitzsee -> Berlin Wannsee war die erste Verbindung zwischen West-Berlin und der ehemaligen DDR. Auf dieser Strecke fuhr seit Mauerbau kein Zug mehr. Die Gleisführung entsprach dem Stand von 1945. Heute steht an der Stelle des "Dorfbahnhofs" Potsdam Stadt der Hauptbahnhof Potsdam mit Passagen. Auf den Fotos sieht man noch das alte Umfeld und die alte Gleisführung. |
