This is the temporary end of the single track that is built for the S-Bahn (urban trains) south of the old line. It will soon be continued, the first ballast layer is already prepared. Later the old tracks will be replaced by the highspeed tracks which will be further north. The two right tracks in the picture are very close together, this might be the reason for the short catenary bracket above the old track.
