Preferente-class (Compartment) car of RENFE (A10x-10022), seen in Zamora.

As some other Class 10000 cars, this one has Mieliech folding doors, while the majority of this fleet has Faiveley plugging-doors. Technically, this car closely derives from A10u Corail cars of SNCF.

Actually, this is the Zamora-Barcelona through car, which runs on a weekly basis, alone on Zamora-Medina del Campo. There, it is added to the Salamanca-Barcelona consist of the Estrella "Pío Baroja" (Barcelona<->Salamanca/Gijon/Bilbao/Hendaye).

Until 2000, "refuerzos" (i.e. extra cars) with conventional rolling-stock were common use on daytime Talgo services of RENFE.

This is the Alicante-Madrid-Vigo/A Coruña Talgo, seen in the Christmas peak (1998/1999), leaving Alacant-Terminal (ex Alicant-Término), with 5 extra Class 10000 cars, located between the loco and the regular Talgo sets.
