This photograph was taken from the rear of the first carriage on a westbound First Great Western HST on a service from London Paddington to Swansea on the approach to Cardiff Central (Caerdydd Canolog). Central Trains class 170 Diesel Multiple Units and a Midland Mainline Class 222 DEMU 222009 at Nottingham Station. The front Central trains unit, looking very tacky, is 170108 while behind it is 170639. The livery on 170180 is not a standard one for Central Trains, and the colours lead me to suspect it was formerly operated by Midland Mainline, with their branding removed and Central Trains' added.
