Unfortunately at some time in the early afternoon of Tuesday 1st June 2004 the replica of Richard Trevithick's 1804 'Penydarren' locomotoive had an accident. Although I didn't see it happen, it appears that it broke an axle and a wheel fell off, which you can lying on the ground infront of the loco.
This photo is of the recovery operation, where they used a large crane to lift the loco back onto the rails and jack it up on several large pieces of wood.
