The Svábhegy Cogwheel (Rack) Railway of Budapest has been introduced into the general transit numbering scheme in 2008 as route 60. Here we see the SGP/BBC-made motor+trailer unit number 64+54 at the lower terminus, Városmajor.

Heritage cars of the Budapest Cogwheel Railway. The yellow-white "thing" to the left is an electric loco built by Ganz in 1928/29, now being renovated to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the electrification of the line. The green vehicle is an old passenger car built in 1874.

This is the depot of the cog-wheel railway, after the electrification. The
trainsets are containing a loco and a one axle Rowan-car; which means, that
the other end of the passenger car is supporting on the loco.

locomotive 30 (built by SLM Winterthur and Ganz-Danubius in 1928-29) and
its car 40 in Városmajor depot. Unfortunately with its old 550 V DC electric
equipments not to be used under the new catenary voltage from 1973. 27.08.2004.
