Two adaptor vehicle of the MÁV coupled with the russian couplung at Záhony. This vehicles used at the front and the end of the russian and some ex-soviet freight cars in the hungarian rail network. The adaptor vechiles has two typ of the couplungs: they have on one side normal chain coupling and on the other side the russian central buffer.
The adaptor vehicles was rebuilt from Es and Ks class freight cars and they home station is Eperjeske (near Záhony).
The left car (class Es) has "Internat" central buffer, the right vechile (class Ks) has typ Sa3. 11.06.2002

EuroCity 170 with MÁV destination sign
Inside the EuroCity 170 from Budapest Keleti to Praha Hlavni Nadrazi, this is the destination sign. This train does not go to Györ, but to Szob, and crosses into the Slovak Republic through Sturovo, Bratislava, Kúty, Breclav, Brno (Brünn) and Kolín and makes a scheduled stop at Nove Zamky.
