*NEW* railbus VT 187 015 - 2 is put into service, depot Nordhausen-Nord, along with 011, 012 and 013.

But 015 was just purchased brand *NEW* from Wittemberge workshops which designed it as some kind of prototype, and it is said to be the first *NEW* equipment on the HSB for passenger service for 40 years:
- probably last equipment bought *NEW* for passenger services was the "Babelsberg" series of 2.10.2T steam locomotives,
- but the very last pieces of equipment bought *NEW* for the Harz surely were the 199 301 diesel tractor, obtained in 196? from a batch built for Indonesia (in Cape Gauge...), and a number of diesel "draisines"...
