Network length, gauge and electrification (2014):

International trains run from Azerbaijan to Georgia and Russia (Dagestan), there are no interational trains to Iran anymore. The 3000V= DC overhead voltage is to be changed into 25kV 50Hz in the near future, for which new freight locomotives have been ordered.
For passenger services new double-deck trains were delivered by Stadler, and new trainsets have been ordered for the next years.
